Keynote Speakers

We are please to announce the following keynote presenters to our program: Dr Sarah Thomas, Head of Conservation Advocacy and Engagement at Auckland Zoo, and Dr Winnifred R. Louis, Professor in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland.

Dr Sally Box class=
Dr Sally Box, as the Australian Government’s Threatened Species Commissioner, champions threatened species issues and oversees the implementation of the Threatened Species Strategy.
Dr Winnifred Louis
Dr Winnifred R. Louis is a Professor in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland. She is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed articles in scholarly journals, book chapters, peer-reviewed conference papers, and scholarly reports. She has been awarded over $1m of competitive grant funding, including 5 lead Chief Investigator Australian Research Council Discovery grants.
Dr Sarah Thomas
Dr Sarah Thomas is the Head of Conservation Advocacy and Engagement at Auckland Zoo. She has a mixed academic background with a BSc (Hons) in Zoology, a masters (PGCE) in education and teaching and a PhD in conservation – which focused on exploring the social dimensions of biodiversity conservation.
