  • Casual role across a 7-day roster
  • Salary: Pre Trade Keeper - $34.49 per hour, Trade Keeper -  $40.04 per hour (Monday to Friday)+ 11% Superannuation
  • Weekend penalties will be applicable: Pre Trade Keeper - $51.74/hr (Saturday), $68.99/hr (Sunday), Trade Keeper - $60.07/hr  (Saturday), $80.09/hr (Sunday)
  • An exciting range of Australian Wildlife and a new build state of the art reptile house

Kyabram Fauna Park has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic Wildlife Attendant.  This role will be responsible for and measured against success on progress across three keys areas:

  • Team Focus: Supporting our strong team culture
  • Animal Care: Delivering a high standard of health and welfare to the animals in our care
  • Visitor Focus: Taking visitors on our animal encounters, sharing extensive knowledge across all taxa


The successful candidate will have:

  • Husbandry experience across a range of taxa.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organisation skills.
  • Sound knowledge of animal welfare principles, and an interest in animal training and enrichment programs.
  • Experience in public speaking.
