and experienced individual to join our team as a Full-Time Keeper.

About Us:
Natureland Wildlife Trust is a conservation-based wildlife park nestled in the heart of Nelson, New
Zealand Our mission is to inspire a love for wildlife and promote conservation efforts including our own
breed for release program. We are home to a diverse range of species, from New Zealand natives to
exotics and a range of domestics.

Position Details:
Hours: Fulltime (40 hours a week)
Experience: Preferably a minimum of 3 years in the zoo industry, preferably with a NZ certificate in
Animal Management or equivalent.
Advantageous: Experience with breeding native New Zealand birds

Responsibilities:
As a Keeper at Natureland, you will have the opportunity to: care for and nurture a variety of fascinating
wildlife species; create enriching and educational experiences for our visitors; and contribute to the
conservation and breeding programs of native birds. Alongside excellent communication skills, time
management and prioritizing skills, our new team member will have a good sense of humour and enjoy
working as part of a flexible, hardworking team. You will also be happy to share the load when it comes
to weekend shifts.
