You may access and display the Material only on a single computer or other device and may make a single copy of pages of this website for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you keep all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices intact unless otherwise stated.
A significant portion of this website is intended for use by ZAA members only. To access these sections, a valid login and password supplied by ZAA must be used.
ZAA reserves the right to deactivate a login or password to member-only services where there are reasonable grounds to believe the login details have been compromised or issued to a person or organisation other than the authorised member.
ZAA highly values the strong relationships we have with our members. The collection of data at the Zoo and Aquarium Association is being handled with full and proper respect for the privacy of our members. The data we collect is handled sensitively, securely and with proper regard to privacy. ZAA does not disclose, distribute or sell the data we collect from our members to third parties.
ZAA will ensure individuals have a right to seek access to information held about them and to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or not up to date.

Membership Application Terms & Conditions
All ZAA Members are bound by our Constitution, Code of Conduct and Member Policy. You can find these governance documents online here.
All of our prices are either in Australian dollars (AUD) or New Zealand (NZD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax) unless otherwise stated.
Eligibility for ZAA membership is subject to our receipt of your completed Membership Application Form, ZAA Board approval and payment of the membership fee.
In your Membership Application Form you are required to provide true and correct information, and make a declaration about certain matters. Please provide as much detail as possible so that your application can be assessed.
Once complete, your application will be reviewed by the Member Support and Operations Manager. A determination will be made by the ZAA Board, and you will receive an acceptance or rejection of your application in accordance with the criteria for the applicable membership category.
While we aim to advise you of the membership application status within approximately 14 days from submission, in some instances such as applications for zoos, aquariums and wildlife parks, this process takes longer and we will keep you informed if this is the case. If accepted, your ZAA membership is for a period of 1 January – 31 December.
Your ZAA membership must be renewed at the start of each calendar year.
Your eligibility to renew is subject to your payment of the membership fee and your ongoing compliance with the applicable conditions.
Refund of Membership Fees
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to another site. No fees will be refunded if a member or subscriber withdraws from or is no longer eligible as an Association Member or as a Subscriber.
From time to time, we may update these Terms and Conditions. The updated Terms and Conditions will apply to all membership applications from the time of posting on our website onwards.
